When I run this at shell:
    getconf LONG_BIT

    I get this:
    32

So how much ram can this server utilize?

So your system is 32-bit architecture, right? It depends on the service if the architecture is 32-bit rather than 64-bit. MySQL, for one, can only utilize up to 2GB of the RAM on the machine for 32-bit systems.
