How often does the WHM restore script run?

I used the Restore option in WHM today for the first time in years. I added an account to restore and showed in the queue as 'pending' .. after 30 minutes I got tired of waiting and ran '/bin/backup_restore_manager activate' and the restore ran and finished in about 20 seconds..

So my question is, how long would I have waited if I didnt manually activate the queue?

I do not think it works that way.
you add accounts to the queue

"You must click the Restore button at the bottom of the page to activate the Restoration Queue"

it does not turn on automatically I would assume so you can add multiple accounts
