How redirect a domain to another domain

    How to redirect a domain to another domain

    I have 2 registerd domains.
    For 1st domain i have created a subdomain.
    Now i want the 2nd domain to be redirected to 1st domains subdomain.

    For example
    if we try it will be redirected to

    How can I do the same in my case?
    How to point a domain to subdomain?

    Presuming that the DNS is all setup, you could simply edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and add the following line to the VirtualHost container for the subdomain:


    Then reload Apache.

    However, this wouldn't give you the option to use email for the domain. To do that you could either:

    1. Setup the subdomain as a full cPanel account, then park the new domain against it.

    2. Park the new domain against, then remove the ServerAlias for the new domain from the VirtualHost for that domain and put it under the one for the subdomain as mentioned above.

    3. Setup the new domain as a separate cPanel account and put a simply .htaccess file into the public_html directory for the subdomain to redirect to the new domain
