how set permission(perms=0777) for all file and sub folder in root folder

    hi
    i use tomcat5.32 + cpanel .
    i want all files and sub folders in home/user/public_htm/ROOT/WEB-INF have this permission "perms=0777" .

    when i set permission "perms=0777" to "home/user/public_htm/ROOT/WEB-INF" there is not apply for its sub folders and files .

    please present a solution.

    this link not helpful ، this link is for suPHP but i use tomcat+jsp Consequently i can not set php values .
    Please submit solutions other .

    Sorry, a bit too succinct I guess. :/

    In that unrelated to your issue thread, there are commands posted that will work for you to chmod recursively, a directory or directories and the files in them.

    While the topic is different, the answer is there for what you seek to do, change permissions on a directory of files.

    thanks for your response .
    my cpanel can not change multiple file or recursive permission Simultaneously .There is No way to Apply these permission (Perm : 0777) for all files and sub folders ...
    Help Us Please !!

    I am not aware of any built in method to change permissions recursively. You could use other methods to achieve the same. Some are discussed in the threads below.

    You'll need to speak with your host about this and have them do it for you.
