How should Cpanel update a disabled Dovecot?

    I received this message:

I had previously disabled the Dovecot server through WHM...
It seems that there had (therefore) been a '=never' setting in cpupdate.conf, which I suppose would have disabled updates for Dovecot.
I suppose "dovecot: unmanaged" is the same thing then?
Wouldn't it be better to continue updating Dovecot even though it isn't enabled? Or would cpanel take care of all the updating once I enable Dovecot again in the future, if I were to do so?
