I know this is a stupid question for those of you who know what you're doing, but I'm pulling my hair out. I CANNOT keep Exim running. It shuts down every 5 minutes or so and then I have to manually restart it. AWWWWW!

QUESTION #1: How do I access eximstats? I need to know what version of Exim I'm running and don't know where to find it.
QUESTION #2: How do I setup my server so that Exim will restart "automagically"?

    Thanks.

Chkservd will automatically scan all services every 8 minutes and if they aren't running, they'll be restarted automagically.

May want to double-check that chkservd is running and that there are entries in /etc/chkserv.d/chkservd.conf for your services. You can even customize this file if you want to monitor/automagically restart additional services. You can find details on the formatting of the contents of this file in http://trainingseminar.cpanel.net/slides/trackb/Customizing cPanel.pdf slides 41 through 44. If everything looks good though, I'd recommend submitting a support request with your cPanel licensing provider.

To determine which version of Exim you are running, go to WHM -> Server Status -> Service Status and the version of Exim you are running will be displayed next to Exim.

To check mail delivery statistics (Exim Stats), go to WHM -> Email -> View Mail Statistics.

    Go on, have a guess
If exim is stopping and there's nothing in the exim_mainlog file to explain why, then make sure you don't have SIM, PRM or monit or any other process monitoring software installed other than chkservd as any of those three can cause serious problems on cPanel servers.
