    Hello,

    If someone can help fast..

How can I add a second ip address to an account that is allready active?

The system is setup for all accounts to run on one ip address http://44.487.454.11 (Example) but I have some ip address available.

Dont know to much about all of this yet, but learning. I just need another way to access my site by another ip address?

Can this be done in the WHM.. Dont think I can do this in the Cpanel????

Please go step by step for me..

    Thank you..
    Jody

If you want to access your site thorugh another ip address, you could park another domain on top of yours. Not too sure why you would need to be able to access by just another ip address though. Maybe a bit more info could help.

adding a duplicate apache virtual host config with the new IP (provided it is available),.... should help.

Add another account, perhaps a sub domain of the main account, using an IP:

example: create masteracct.com with an IP

    create sub.masteracct.com with an IP.

Edit httpd.conf, search for &sub.masteracct.com& and then look at the document root. it will be /home/submaste/ - change it to the same one as the masteracct.com one.

i do this all the time, so that the name server IP has the same site as the master account...
