how to add php.ini to my hosting

i have a vps using cpanel and im having a little problem. I have a script im trying to install but it requires for me to add some code to my php.ini file and httpd.conf but these files dont seem to be on my ftp server to my site. Is there away for me to add them for my to view and edit?

For adding code to httpd.conf, use the Include editor found in WHM -> Apache Setup

For php.ini, there is a PHP Configuration Editor, also within WHM.

i dont see how i can add code to php.ini with the PHP Configuration Editor i would rather have it on my ftp is there away i can add these files to show instead of the using WHM Editors?

Do you have access to WHM as root? If not you have to talk to your host about your needs.
