The answer must be somewhere, but I can't find it.

We've run into this a few times, and it's a pain to address.

We have an existing zone, but the auth is somewhere else, so the SRV records for calendar/autodiscover/autoconfigure/etc aren't added to the cpanel zone. We then get auth pointing to us, customer is happy, but no SRV records are added.

How do we add the standard SRV records without doing it manually?

Hey there! If you go to WHM >> Tweak Settings and toggle the "Thunderbird and Outlook autodiscover and autoconfig support (enables service subdomain and SRV record creation)" option off and back on, that will recreate the records even in existing zone files. Can you try that and see if that works how you expect?

Thanks - worked.
Why isn't everything that easy?
