Is there a way to set up the WHM to send out a template email when I set someone up with a new account? Telling them all the info they need (username/pass, url, ftp etc) ? Thanks.

If it's your own server, all you have to do is donate $10 to join the scripts club and I can add it for you if you want. I've installed scripts for a couple of others.

It would be up to you to modify the email to your liking, but there's not much to that.

I looked at your script and it looks nice but I feel its missing something important. Its missing the temp URL as well as the nameservers.

I never even thought of that because the actual IP address and the nameservers are not sent to the script by the wwwacct script when the account is created. I basically wrote the script to use the variables that are passed to it and never even thought of grabbing other variables from the users new account file.

That will be my next custom scripts job. Version 3.0 will grab more information to include in the email by reading other files.

Send me an email if you want to be added to my scripts club so you can get my next newsletter and know when the new version is ready.

No problem. Just remember, I need to get in your server to set it up. I always tell people to set a temporary password for me to get in with and change it again when I'm done.

Do you mean the postwwwacct script doesn't get run?

Is it called postwwwacct with no extension? Is it executable? (0700)

It's a popular error. Many people forget to make it executable.
