    Does anyone know how I can block one of the hosts on my server from using SMTP to send emails?

    Thanks

    Edit the file /etc/localdomains and delete the domain.

    Actually that also stops the POP function of the domain.

    Do you have any idea how to just turn off the SMTP function??

    Thanks

    ok i have found the answer

    just leave localdomains alone and un-comment the following in exim.conf.
    sender_host_reject = +allow_unknown:lsearch*;/etc/spammers

    then enter the domain-name in the /etc/spammers file.

    Now the domain can receive emails but can't send using SMTP server.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    Did you ever get an answer on how to turn off one domain from using SMTP, but yet allowing them to use POP (incoming)?
