how to block/restrict OUTGOING emails to certain address

Hello

There is a domain that I don't want emails to be sent accidentally so I would like to block it. How can do I do this?

I don't have too much coding knowledge.

Can we get an updated end-to-end official tutorial on how to accomplish this? Trying to piecemeal the proper configuration based on partials in this thread's history isn't proving effective. I'm getting the following error: "unknown lookup type "domainlist blocked_domains = lsearch"

I saw that this issue has been going on for years. Embarassing that CP hasn't made something user friendly to fix it.

I've seen plenty of posts where users said they've submitted and nothing happened. Such a basic feature should be automatic for a platform such as CP that has been around for so long.

A feature request isn't a guarantee that something will get implemented, but it at least makes someone from our development team aware of the desire.
