Hi,
can anyone tell how to dis-allow any particular domain to be able to send mails.
i think one of their system is infected and is relaying infected mails from their office and they are not able to fix it.

any way to block a IP range to be able to use pop before smtp.

thanks,
mohit

Go on, have a guess
You'd better of doing that in your firewall. Just block their IP's for port 110 access only if they use POP before SMTP access only. Personally, I'd completely suspend their account until they guarantee to you that they've cleaned their PC's.

The alternative would to to use a deny ACL in the exim configuration edit to block their sender IP's. Check out www.exim.org for such configuration options.

Re:

thanks sir,
thats what i did, suspended their account and they were able to clean their system in 2 hours Flat, which seemed they were not willing to do since last 2 days before the suspension

now no more extra relaying are done from their account.

Thanks for your concern.

Warm regards,
mohit
