How To Build A Second Installation of PHP

    Hi,

    Just curious, I've seen this done.

    I have PHP v 5.3.x installed on my server NOW, how can I build a second version of PHP 5.2.17 and use an .htaccess file to access it?

    The most well-known way to do it is using 1H's Hive:

    PHP Version Manager - Wiki

    That's part of what it provides. I cannot recommend it in any way, but it will provide more than 1 version of PHP via their PHP version manager for every account to use per folder on the account.
