How To "Commit" Changes To HTTPD.CONF

    So I need to change the DocumentRoot for the default server (the one that is being used to set up the server and can apparenty not be changed within WHM).

    When I go into httpd.conf it says this is created automatically. The line already changed when I created a new account so I need something more permanent.

    I issued the command /usr/local/cpanel/bin/apache_conf_distiller --update

    1) Will this do the trick UNTIL I rebuild Apache with EasyApache? Which would be fine.

    2) Is there are really permanent solution that is easy and does not involve a lot of steps?

    Thanks, thats what I consulted first, but I missed the line
    "To test whether cPanel & WHM will overwrite your modifications, perform the following steps"

    Are there any plans to add more of the dynamic configuration lines found in httpd.conf to WHM -> Apache -> General Config
