Hello,

Some months ago I've tried to configure custom nameservers in WHM with no success, I'm actually using Cloudflare on my sites so I don't need my nameservers working but now I want to create an account for a friend on the server and he needs the nameservers.

My server have 4 dedicated IPs.
In WHM > Nameserver Selection > I have checked "BIND".
In Basic cPanel & WHM Setup > I have ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com each one with one IP assigned.
In my domain registar I have ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com pointing to the IPs assigned by WHM.
In Resolver COnfiguration > I have two IPs I don't know where they came from, ¿what should I put here?.

But my nameservers aren't working, also my domain is pointing to CloudFlare nameservers, ¿should I add something to the DNS records in CloudFlare?.

Thanks.

In Resolver Configuration (leave alone they are your providers DNS resolvers)

if mydomain.com is pointed to cloudfare then you need to ad the A records there

But my nameservers aren't working? how do you know they are not working have you pointed a domain to these name servers

OK I will try then tomorrow and see, to be sure, all I have to do is:

assign ips to the nameservers in basic config (whm)
assign the same ips to the nameservers in the registar
and assign A records with the same ips in cloudflare?.

I know my nameservers aren't working by runing CSF security check, it says any of the nameservers are working.

Thanks for your help ;).
