How to configure Google Apps and Webhosting Email the same domain name - mail delivery failure

Hi,

Good day!!

Is there anyone right there who already encounter this issue?

I have email address created on my Google Apps and also i have another email addresses who are created on our Webhosting,

after updating mx records and changing email routing from localhost to remote mail exchanging.

after performing some mail testing i send an email from google apps to webhosting the same domain name different email account I encounter Mail delivery Delivery failure it indicate no such user,


any helps is greatly appreciated.

Hi there

You've configured the MX records on the domain to point to Google, so any emails for that domain will be delivered there, not your host - you can't, to my limited knowledge, have both. The mailboxes you have on the host will no longer be able to receive email as its being told to go elsewhere by that MX record.

You will need to recreate the mailboxes you have on your host on Google Apps.

Or have I misunderstood your issue?

Hello :)

The previous post is correct. There's no support for per-email-account MX records, so you would need to handle email activity (including email account creation) on the server where your email is hosted.
