    Im totally lost on this.
How to configure zone editor to use a subdomain and point it to my local computer at home. Is that even possible?
I think i need to add a A record but its not working at all.

I need to create the subdomain first or by adding the record it will work?

I want home.mydomain.com to point to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, thats all so i can use apple remote desktop when im out of home.

    Regards,
    Damian

    Hello :)

You will not need to create a subdomain through cPanel. Instead, simply add an "A" record pointing "home" to the IP addresss of your choosing. This will work fine, assuming the DNS for your domain name is handled on the cPanel server.

    Thank you.
