I configured backups of my system to /backups and now I want to create an FTP account to download the files.

How can I do that? Seems cpanel does not allow to create an user outside home.

    Thanks!

I configured the backup by using the "Legacy Backup Configuration" on WHM options.
I just want to download the files by FTP, how I´m supposed to do that, using standard configurations?

    Thanks

    Hello :)

Your posts indicate that you have "root" access to the system. If that is the case, you could utilize SFTP to access the /backup directory and download the archives to your home computer. You can use a FTP client such as FileZilla for SFTP activity if you use a Windows OS.

    Thank you.
