Hello - I am a complete server and WHP noob. I have a VPS Hostgator account with WHP/Cpanel, but have NO idea how to:

    1. load my webpage up via FTP
    2. create 2 email accounts

I have gone thru many tutorials from Hostgator on configuring the email, ftp, php, nameservers, etc. I also have create a new account and I assume I will be creating email accounts for this new account, but have no idea how to log on in new account and create email accounts.

    Please help me! Paleeeeze!! :)

    First of all

WHM = http://serverip:2086 is the administrator part from where you manage all the accounts and various configuration of the server.

cPanel = http://serverip:2082 is the panel for end users from where they manage their own account, like email accounts, ftp, databases, cronjob and many more

Once you create an account from WHM, login to the account at:

    http://serverip:2082
username and password are the one you specify while creating the account from WHM.
Once logged in to cPanel, refer
    Email Accounts
    to add email accounts.

For Ftp, username/password of cPanel are used to Ftp to your domain. Use the hostname as your server IP while Ftp'ing to your account. You have to upload your website files under the 'public_html' directory.

To create email accounts, login to cPanel (with the username) and NOT WHM.
Go to the Mail/Email section and there you should be able to create the email accounts.

Another easy way to learn cPanel workings is to use the Video Tutorials available under the Preferences section.
Just looking there now there is a great video about creating email accounts in cPanel.
