    Hi,

I want to create an account which only use email.
I know there is xmail theme for this purpose but after creating account, the user can successfully login to his account and put his web page into public_html folder. Then he has a web site.

User can change the url to "http://www.hissite.com:2082/awstats.pl?config=hissite.com&lang=en" and can look his web logs etc.

This is not an only email account.

Is it possible to create an account like this (only email)?

It sounds like you are relying on the theme to limit the functionality a user can access. Instead, you should use feature lists for such restrictions.

To create a feature list, go to WHM -> Packages -> Feature Manager

Create the feature list, assign it to a package then use that package for your email-only customers.

    Hello David,

I set the x3mail theme and remove all the features but only email features from feature manager. But the client still can connect via ftp and put the files under public_html folder. Then this means he have a web site. I put php files and can execute them.

This is not an email only solution for intelligent customers :)

I agree. Checking through previous feature requests, I was able to find a very similar feature request at: http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=4150

It's been almost one year. Do you think we'll ever see a solution to this?

Does someone have any ideas on how to create email-only accounts without having to manually hack stuff?
