cpanel sends the following message to my customers when they are reaching quota... how do I customize this message?

"The account with the username 'xxxx', is running out of disk space.
Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.
You have currently used 95.01% of your disk space."

    Thank you.

    ridiculous

    That is crazy.

    This message:

    -----------
    Disk Usage Warning (warn)

The account with the username 'yourname', is running out of disk space.
Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.
You have currently used 80.31% of your disk space.
    -----------

Is needlessly alarming. There is NO need to do anything when you've used up 80% of your space.

It should read: "Note: You have reached 80% of your account disk space. You need not take any action, but if you reach 100% you may experience problems with recieving emails and uploading files. Thank you."

Even more silly is the 90% message that states that it's Critical. Cpanel please change these warning messages. They are freaking my clients out.

Thanks for this Kenneth; I'll check it out.

    Btw:

At this time, it only allways customization of the message body, not the subject line (you should change that to "allows" so it's more clear).

Thanks. Too bad Bugzilla doesn't let me edit my post :D

As I have time I want to add:

    1. Ability to customize subject lines

    2. Ability for resellers to have templates also

What you ask for is in /scripts/quotacheck and can easily be modified to say
whatever you would like the message to say instead of the default message.

The only problem is that being in the "/scripts" folder, the script will probably
revert back to it's original unmodified state each time you update Cpanel
unless you have a cron process or something setup to prevent changes.

I hate to harp on this but is there any way CPanel can simply edit the message for the software now? Understandably my host is not willing to implement an unsupported patch, and not particularly likely to make edits that will be overwritten at every patch.

I have the feeling the warning mesasges were simply written in a fast and ready way, so perhaps it's not a big deal to kabal on this one and come up with some minor adjustments:

    ----
"The account with the username 'xxxx', is running out of disk space.
Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.
You have currently used 95.01% of your disk space."
    ----

    becomes

    ===
"The account with the username 'xxxx', is running out of disk space.
If you find you need more space you can remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.
You have currently used XX.XX% of your disk space."
    ===
    (Bold is the changed section.)

Similar changes can be made to the other messages.

Thanks for understanding (I just had another client asking me what they need to do to remove files).
