How to delete account while I used terminate but was not suc

Hi,

Would you please help me how to delete an account while I used Terminate account but can't creat a new account with the name of terminated, /scripts/wwwacct shows sorry account name is taken however I deleted it before

I used /scripts/killacct but it was unsuccessful then tried to delete everything manually by deleting from /home, httpd, proftpd but it also unsuccessful anyone knows what should I do now?

Thanks for your reply but I had two accounts that used terminate account for removing,

Unfotunately it seems user names shorter than 8 characters long will not be removed completely by terminate account

I succeed to remove one of them by removing related files however the user name was deleted by cpanel (killacct) but the other with 6 character long couldn't be removed, I also used

userdel username

command but it returns &terminated&

I deleted the user from

/etc/passwd
/etc/shadow
/etc/group

and all other related files due to cpanel such as /etc/proftpd/user, /etc/httpd/domlogs/domain, /etc/aliases/user and more

And now everything is fine, Do you think that I have to do more?
