Hi, I was enabled auto backup on /backup folder (WHM) 5 rotation daily. Now I have changed it to 1 rotation weakly. But I am unable to delete my already stored backups. It's showing on cpanel backups but not in file manager. How can I delete them ?

    Hello,

You can adjust the "Retention" setting in "WHM >> Backup Configuration" to change how many backups are stored. It's explained in more details at:

Backup Configuration - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

You'd need to access the server via SSH or SFTP as root and manually delete the archives from the configured backup directory if you want them removed before the next automatic backup generation.

    Thank you.

You can SSH the server go to the Backup folder and if you wish to remove all the previous backup just remove backup using command : rm -rf

Note : make 100% sure you are in backup folder before firing this command.

You can access the server via SSH or SFTP and remove the backup archives from the local backup directory you configured in "WHM >> Backup Configuration. The default path is "/backup/$date/accounts/".

    Thank you.
