How to disable php safe mode?

    I need to install a script in one site that requires php safe mode disabled, how can i do that? :(

    Help is very very appreciatted!

    well it's probably compiled into your php but you should be able to disable it in the php.ini. This shoudl be located in /usr/local/lib/php.ini.

    Create a phpinfo.php file and put the following in it.

    &?PHP phpinfo(); ?&

    and call that file via the web browser. Look down a bit and you will set what it's set too.

    Since the title of your thread is &How to disable php safe mode?
    for a specific site...& , the solution is to add a specific line in the htacess for that site. I believe that it should be : php_flag safe_mode off
