How to downgrade exim.....

    Hi,

    Right now i have the latest version of exim 4.79 but i want exim 4.69,so can any one help me to downgrade the exim version .

    How did you end up with exim 4.79 instead of the version we provide? It was likely via rpm installation and disabling exim updates from cPanel in WHM > Update Preferences.

    If that was what was done, simply ensure exim can update in WHM > Update Preferences area, then remove the existing rpms you've added:

    Code:
    rpm -qa | grep -i exim
    rpm -e --nodeps exim-4.79-whatever
    Please replace exim-4.79-whatever with the actual exim rpm name. At that point, update exim:

    /scripts/eximup --force
    It should install the exim-4.69-30_cpanel_maildir rpm.
