If I select one of the account backup dates and download it, it only contains the full home directory but doesn't include database. If I download MySQL backup under Partial Backups, it downloads the current database. So how do I download the backed up database based on the backup date?

A Full Website Backup should contain the database in the mysql/ directory. You might want to speak with your Hosting Provider about this.

Yes but it only gives me the latest backup. What if I want MySQL from one of my daily backups 2 days ago? I can login through the SSH and download the archive from 2 days ago and pull the /mysql directory from there but isn't there an easier way to do this through cPanel?

There isn't, unfortunately. Depending on your backup settings, you can restore an account from 2 days ago though.

Always best to take a manual backup just before making any changes for safe keeping.
