    Hi all,

Just a quick question: I have some mails that i need duplicate into a seperate mailbox for seperate POP3 Access (Unusual situation)

Before breaking anything has anyone tried and successfully done this and how would one go about it?

This is what i was planning: Create a new account (backup@domain.com) and then just cp /home/USER/mail/account /home/USER/mail/backup - Where "account" is the account i want to duplicate

Does anyone know if this will work or have any better ideas?
    Thanks!

That will work, if you have the paths right. I have a vague idea that you may need to move some emails out of the "cur" directory back into "new" but that shouldn't be necessary.

    Hey Brian,

Yeah thanks - I'll make sure there aren't any unread emails so i don't have to do any copying from /cur
