Have contacted Cpanel but gotten no response on how to edit Cpanel features.
I need to remove certain features for my different packages, for example:

Package= Basic
need to hide/delete the following features:

Cron Jobs
Agora Shopping Cart
Manage OpenPGP keys

How can this be done ?

Thank you very much.

We are also hosted at burst.net
Unfortunately we cannot setup any reseler hosting on our server untill we can edit the features in Cpanel.
Even called Cpanel several times and they always referred me to their documentation which does not address the issue.

Does anyone know of a Cpanel replacement with editable features !

Try using the feature manager.

It's there, and may be pretty well done. Just test it out.

Also, you can edit out the html files of the skins not to include those, and you could even nullify the programs for those....

I was also wondering how to do this. I have to make a skin and was thinking if there wasn't anyway to hide certain features, I'd have to go and make three seperate skins for our three different hosting plans. For example, the basic plan doesn't include support for MySQL. Therefore it should be that only users on the basic plan cannot view the info on MySQL, such as amount of databases or pages to create additional usernames/databases.

I find it hard to believe that as long as cPanel has been out and all the customers they have, that this isn't supported, or at least very well known.

feature manager has been in WHM for months now and works great. It has changed my life. Now my packages contain only what I want them to contain .. on the package level. Give people a reason to upgrade to higher plan.

Try using it .. no problems yet that I have seen.

I just tried out Feature Manager for the first time and it looks like it works great. Will it work on ANY skin, even custom made ones, or just skins that have a functionality built into them to support this?

Do you or anybody else know how to incorporate this into a custom made skin?

OK, that works great for the features but how can I disable the "View Server Status" feature in the X skins?

I receive more meaningless support calls about this when logs are running, for example and the load is over 1.00. There is something that sets a cutomer off when they see a flashing red light even though it is nothing to worry about.

You could always just change the number in WHM. I have mine set to 3. 1.00 is nothing. Above 3 is when something is wrong. Some servers can perform fine with even higher loads.

Do I understand correctly that this is the setting being referred to:

Tweak Settings >> Stats Log Level (default is 1) [0...5]:
