In Cpanel under List Domains > Create New Domain the check box option "share document root..." is greyed out. What do I need to change in WHM to allow this particular account to add an add-on domain that shared the document root. I assume it must be possible, otherwise why is the option even listed?

Hey there! On my personal machine, I was able to create an addon domain, then create sub.addondomain.com with the same document root. I'm wondering if there is another configuration that is preventing this from happening.

Do you have root access to this machine? If so, can you create a ticket with our team so we can take a look?

Yes I have root and I already submitted a ticket. Just posted here as I was in a hurry hoping someone in the forums might answer with a solution quicker.

Note the add on domain for account "primary.com" is something.anotherdomain.com not something.primary.com. But it makes no difference what I type there as I tried sub.primary.com and the option is still disabled.

It was because the package for this account has parked domain limit of 0. Not sure what Cpanel uses to determine if a domain is parked or not? As there is a DNS entry for the domain in question. I'm actually adding a subdomain of another domain as an add-on domain. At least I know the solution. I figured it has to be something like this.
