    Hi,

Is there a way to have Spamassassin scan/tag messages that come from localhost/127.0.0.1? When I send messages using Webmail (Squirrelmail/Horde) or do a test on the command-line, the headers don't show anything regarding Spamassassin.

Eventually, I'm going to use a a greylisting solution called Hermes but I have to get past this localhost issue first. Since Hermes acts as a proxy server, Exim/Spamassassin see the messages as coming from the localhost IP eventhough the messages originally came from another external mailserver.

I've tried ASSP and also some other greylisting solutions but Hermes seems to work best in my situation. I'm just trying to get Spamassassin to work with it. I've used Hermes on other servers with Spamassassin but these were using sendmail instead of Exim.

I'm using Exim with the Spamassassin ACLs through Cpanel.

    Here is the version information

    WHM 11.11.0 cPanel 11.16.0-C18546
    CENTOS Enterprise 4.6 x86_64 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0

    Thanks,

    Keith
