How to find a domain within a reseller?

Hi,
I need to find a domain on my server that belongs to one of my resellers. How do I do this from the root user?

There are a few ways:

1. cat /etc/userdomains

2. grep DNS /var/cpanel/users/$username

3. Go to WHM -> List Accounts (if the domain is the main domain of a cPanel account)

You can search for a domain by its owner in Home » Account Information » List Accounts. Click the "Reseller/Owner" radio button, enter the reseller's username in the search box, and click "Find". That will give you a list of all accounts owned by that reseller.

Actually I had done all that. I am assuming that this was an add on domain with one of the reseller accounts.

You will not be able to determine which reseller owns the account associated with that addon domain name through Web Host Manager. You would have to obtain the account username first, or use one of the methods listed in the earlier posts to determine ownership from the command line.
