How to find MYSQL Process ID?

    HI Guys....

    I want to view the current mysql process id that sets after, we start the service of mysql.

    For example:
    process id for httpd:

    cat /usr/local/apache/logs/httpd.pid - 12207

    like wise i want to view the mysql process id..

    I searched everything but i can't reach to view the process id of mysql.
    Please anyone can help me...

    Hi Raja,

    MySql startup process id is located in your mysql data directory with the hostname.

    For example your mysql data directory is /var/lib/mysql/ and your hostname is example.com then it located in /var/lib/mysql/ with the name of example.com.pid
