How to find the version of Spam Assassin running on my server?

    Sounds simple.

WHM interface does not show (that I can see) the version of Spam Assassin (spamd) installed.

I have read in another forum that to find the version I use:

    Code:
    /path/to/spamassassin -V

But I do not know the path. I have searched extensively on the server and all findings of "spamd" and/or "spamassassin" do not take the -V argument.

What is the WHM install directory for Spam Assassin to get the version (using bash). Or is the version displayed somewhere in WHM interface?

    Thankyou.

    Hi @martin MHC

    Here's how I get it:

    Code:
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/528/bin/spamassassin -V
    SpamAssassin version 3.4.2
      running on Perl version 5.28.0
It could vary depending on your perl version though updated systems should be running 5.28
