    Hi,

I would like to run sshd through tcp_wrappers to take advantage of hosts.allow (in combo with hosts.deny to poll my authlog file and ban any brute force login attempts). However, WHM runs sshd as a standalone daemon.

I've tried enabling sshd through inetd.conf, which invokes
    sshd -i

but this just gives the error
    Code:
    Feb 9 19:13:21 hosts sshd[52154]: error: setsockopt SO_KEEPALIVE: Socket operation on non-socket
Feb 9 19:13:21 hosts sshd[52154]: warning: can't get client address: Socket operation on non-socket
Feb 9 19:13:36 hosts sshd[52154]: fatal: Timeout before authentication for UNKNOWN

    Any ideas?

    Go on, have a guess
I found a wealth of hits in Google for openssh tcp wrappers which should set you in the right direction.
