I'm refering to the self-signed certificate that WHM/cpanel uses for the admin panels (in the name of the hostname), NOT about a certificate for a www account.

By default, when you regenerate this certificate, it is only valid for one year. I know based on using openssl that you should be able to increase the length of this by changing a simple runtime setting when openssl is called to generate the certificate (the "-days" value).

I'm not fond of having to regenerate these certificates once a year. Is there someplace I can increase the value of these certificates since they are self-signed in the first place?

(also, where are these stored on the server? I'm not seeing it!)

    Thanks
