How to install mod_perl + Cpanel?

    Hello all,

    My Cpanel distributor doesnt install mod_perl with apache bundle come with Cpanel package, i try to install by using Cpan but its not work, and i did try to install back apache::bundle and that make all the Cpanel configuration change.

    Somebody please tell me how can i install mod_perl with Cpanel and Apache already install on my server.

    hmm.... why no one willing to help me with this matter ?

    try installing apacheasp from layer1.cpanel.net. I know for deffinate that it installs mod_perl as part of the Apache::ASP bundle.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you so much Brownie,

    By the way..if I install apache asp, will it affect the cpanel/httpd.conf configuration? I'm afraid to install it as when I tried to install Apache::Bundle from CPAN some time ago, it affected all the Apache and Cpanel configuration and I had to reinstall cpanel on my server.

    I dont think it will no :) all it will do is add the LoadModule lines for mod_perl, but just to be safe...backup httpd.conf before you install it.
