I ask the same question here: How to install php-devel under CentOS 6.3 x64? - Server Fault and a user suggested me to check my system because maybe it was broken.

Please feel free to check the details on this threat.

I've opened a ticket with my system administrator and here is his answer:

Well, I'm not sure if it is good to install 2 php servers, one to serve cpanel and the other for everything else.
(Extra memory may be a problem too)

    Anyone have a suggestion?

What are you attempting to accomplish by installing the php-devel package?
