Can you paste the error message you get when you try and set up phpBB. I assume you're using cPanel's installer ? Do you have an available mysql database for that account ?

    Hi Digitalnetwork,

you created the subdomain to early !
    delete it and :

1 / firstly you need to install the forum into a sub directory
like yourdomain.com/forum usually the script should create it by itself

    and then

2/ you create your subdomain in cPanel

forum.yourdomain.com , be aware that subdomains need to propagate as well

    and then
3 / log into the admin of your foum and go to General Admin/Configuration and under General Board Settings/Domain Name change the URL from yourdomain.com to forum.yourdomain.com

and there you have it , easy :D
