    Hello,
How to install SSL to other port, like 8001 for using with Secure Web Sockets? This is HTTP protocol, but instead Apache port listening my own daemon.

    Via SSH..
    Code:
    cd /var/cpanel
    Then:
    Code:
    sudo vi cpanel.config
    After that:
Change "apache_ssl_port=0.0.0.0:443" to "apache_ssl_port=0.0.0.0:new_port" (Replace new_port with your port number)

    Finally, run:

    Code:
    sudo /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/whostmgr2 --updatetweaksettings
I think this will work. I've never needed to do it, personally.

    Good luck.

    Hello :)

You could also make this change via Web Host Manager. Browse to the "System" tab in "WHM Home » Server Configuration » Tweak Settings" and edit the port for the following option:

    "Apache SSL port"

    Per it's description:

    Thank you.
