how to install worpdress in a folder on vps

I have vps with whm I know how to create account using whm for domain but I don't know to access a folder using ip address and install wordpress on it for testing. I want to aceess my folder like this 192.169.10.1/wordpress
please help me.

You should install the application within an account. For instance, setup a test account if necessary, and then install WordPress in a subdirectory or the public_html directory of this test account. You can then view the website over an IP address using Apache Mod_Userdir or by manually editing the hosts file on your personal computer.

As i mention I want to create a folder for development website so that I can access it using ip address 182.xx.xx.xx/wordpress
also how to customize my ip address default page (cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi )
if it is possible through cpanel then it will be the best

That type of setup is not supported. Instead, I recommend following the instructions from my previous post:

To clarify, by test account, I mean a separate cPanel account.

1. what will i use in place of website while creating a cpanel account in WHM
2. how i will redirect public_htm folder of that account to ip address.

You could use a domain name that does not exist if necessary (e.g. testing-domain.test). A redirect is not necessary. Simply modify the hosts file on your own computer with an entry such as:

IP-Address-Here testing-domain.test
