How to install YUM?

    Hi people i wanna install yum in my VPS centos 5 becouse cpanel required yum.

    WHAT TO DO?

    Both "yum" and "rpm" should have been included with an installation of CentOS; if neither is available, and especially if "rpm" is not usable, then it may be necessary to re-provision the OS installation.

    Hi Danix, more than likely you would need to reinstall the Operating System as rpm and yum are system utilities that are included inside CentOS by default. rpm and yum should exist in CentOS, since without them, I highly doubt you can install anything at all.

    Maybe reinstall the Operating System or ask your provider to help you reinstall the Operating System.
