I am used to WHM on a single processor, now I added a dual processor dual core system (2 processors, 4 cores total) so is there a difference in how I interpret the simple load display (the green/red ball & % indicator in "Service Status")?

Is it an indication of the total load on the total of the CPU's or should it be divided by either the # of processors or # or cores?

I have been told conflicting things on this one and just need a straight, easy to understand answer.

    Thanks in advance.

The status page shows load for all CPUs together.

Thanks, a couple of people said 2 CPU's divide by 2, one said 2 cores divide by 2, if that had been right I would be dividing by 4.
So now I know the load is the load is the load on the server total...thanks :)
