How to liberate space in / ?

    I have one server with a very small partition for / , I want to move some files to /home where are more space but I don't know exactly wich files can I move, perhaps only logs ones? I tried with /usr and /var and was a painful! any idea here? thanks!

    Hi

    Can you run the following command in the server "df -h " and paste the result.
    So that I can suggest on this.
