Hello,

in WHM / Basic WebHost Manager Setup, i have set my contact e-mail as [email protected]

and it seems that WHM is sending system e-mails (like user XY exceeded its bandwidth, user account created..) to [email protected]
the mydomain.com is hosted on external different WHM server, but because on external server is DNS A record to redirect servername.mydomain.com requests back to local server, it seems that these [email protected]*** mails are ending up on my local server and filling the mailbox.

Return-Path: <[email protected]>
Delivered-To: [email protected]
Received: from servername.mydomain.com
by servername.mydomain.com (Dovecot) with LMTP id wfMiC99YwlhGJAAAmZaDBw
for <[email protected]>; Fri, 10 Mar 2017 07:42:23 +0000
Return-path: <[email protected]>
Envelope-to: [email protected]
Delivery-date: Fri, 10 Mar 2017 07:42:23 +0000
Received: from root by servername.mydomain.com with local (Exim 4.88)
(envelope-from <[email protected]>)
id 1cmFBu-0002Yp-F4
for [email protected]; Fri, 10 Mar 2017 07:42:22 +0000
Please any idea how to make WHM send these system e-mails to [email protected] instead of [email protected] ?

Thank You

Hello,

You can browse to "WHM >> Edit System Mail Preferences" and update the forwarding addresses to the email address of your preference. Also, check to verify your server's hostname is included in the /etc/localdomains file on the cPanel server.

Thank you.
