    Hello,

Here is my issue. I changed the IP of the main WHM domain. All other accounts in WHM were unchanged. So, I made the IP change for the domain name, then edited the DNS zone for that domain, and finally restarted the name servers.

So all was ok, except just now when you try and visit any of the sites they dont load. Then when i try accessing them using the IP address e.g. http://Ipaddress/~siteusername, the site does load, but the URL changes to http://xyz.com/~siteusername where xyz.com is the first entry in the httpd config file.

So basically it loaded up the site this way but with the wrong URL - this applied to all other domains in the account as well. We had manually moved the main domain to the top of the list and this solved the problem but then it returned.

cPanel is probably resetting the changes that I made manually to put the main domain as the first entry. I'm not sure how to change this so that it will permanently stay.

Can anyone help me out with this and advise how to permanently move a domain to the top of the list in WHM?

    Thanks!
