How to move skin files in shell

I just want to upload some skin file to the CPanel directory but I don't know how. I learned that i need to upload it into one account on server then move it to CPanel directory. Can someone please point me how. Whic commands to use and where to login (server root or account login with SSH) ?

upload it to /home/ACCOUNT

ssh using root
cd /home/ACCOUNT
mv /home/ACCOUNT/FOLDERNAME /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend
