Hi.
Every 12 hours the Log Scanner Report is so huge and most of the error lines are like this;
Code:
[2020-06-05 08:13:01 -0500] warn [whostmgr10] Failed to fetch cPStore products list: Cpanel::Exception::Market::Disabled/(XID c56zd6) “cPanel Store†indicated that the Market has been disabled by the license holder.

I know my server provider has disabe the cPStore on my WHMs and is ok with me, but what I don't like is why cPanel has to write hundred of lines about this?

Is there a way to decide what log lines I want to receive in the Log Scanner Report? Or at least, How to turn off these notifications?

Regards,
Sergio

Hello @Secmas

Thank you for contacting cPanel! Note, the Log Scanner Report is a feature of ConfigServer's LFD. That is 3rd party software that is not provided by or supported by cPanel. You might find further assistance by posting in their forum: https://forum.configserver.com/

I've attached a screenshot showing where you can go in WHM to modify the log files that are included in the Log Scanner Report. Not, you can also manage alert settings in the WHM >> Home >> Plugins >> ConfigServer Security & Firewall >> Firewall Configuration >> Reporting Settings interface.

You will need to determine exactly which log file the log entries come from, which I suspect may be /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log. I would also suggest you determine what actions are taking place that trigger the errors. While cPanel does not provide support for the LFD plugin itself, we would be happy to investigate these errors that are found in the cPanel logs further if you would like to submit a ticket via the link in my signature.

@cPSamuel,
thank you for pointing me on how to fix this in CSF.
But actually what I will like is that cPanel doesn't try to access cPanel Store if it is disabled, What is the point to log all those lines if it has already known that cPstore is not available? CSF is only showing the errors that happened on the server, but it will be great that those errors would not be generated.
I will open the ticket as you suggest, thank you.

Best Regards,
Sergio
