How to protect some folders to be in cpanel backup?

    Hello I was wondering is there a way to protect something, a folder one which will not be in the cpanel backup file. I tested with chowning that folder to root:root and done backup, but folder is still there. Any solutions? Thanks in Advance ;)

    DataCenter Provider
    cd /home/user/dir-you-want-to-exclude
    touch .cpbackup-skip
    chown user.group .cpbackup-skip
