hy guys..

I don't know how to reach the cpanel bevor my registrar has changed my dns entries...

http://mydomain.com/~account works fine!

http://mydomain.com/~account/cpanel or
http://mydomain.com/~account:2082 aren't working? I get a 404.

Is there a possibility to reach the cpanel in this way?

thx!

david burkardt.

David,
You can use this format.

http://ipaddress/cpanel or
http://ipaddress:2082

Use your user id and password.

http://server.domain.com:2082 or
http://server.domain.com/cpanel/

Both should get you in.

Or, quite simply (following the format cyon originally specified):

http://mydomain.com:2082

or securely at:

https://mydomain.com:2083

Port numbers always go at the end of the domain name (or IP), not after a directory or file.
